We have been for the last 3 years, the top performing TMO in the Borough Lambeth. To maintain these standards we expect nothing less than the highest quality service delivery from any external contractors. We have in the past had associations with almost every contracting company in the borough either by them working on Cowley or our staff having worked for them. None of them were able to maintain a consistent, professional, quality service and I would not recommend any of them for these reasons. Hennessy’s came highly recommended and after checking references we have now used them for over a year. During this time they have carried out numerous work on Cowley Estate both large and small, from helping on repairs to carrying out a £117,500 roof refurbishment. I rarely write references unless I am completely satisfied with the overall service quality that I receive. Hennessy’s have excelled not only in the workmanship but also in the professional manner they carried out these works. On the recently completed roof refurbishment the level of planning, customer liaison and interaction/co-operation with Cowley staff meant we experienced no problems, no complaints and minimal disruption on site. _____________________________________________________________________ Prior Group 2002 We have been using the above company for six months to date. I would inform you that I have had no complaints or problems with regard to the standard of work or completing their jobs on schedule. During this time you can imagine Hennessy’s have carried out thousands of pounds of work of which there are no complaints about. Stockwell Park EMB will continue to use their service until 1st April 2001 at which point they will become the main contractor for the estate in respect of repair and external decs. They have worked for FMCS Kier Group since 1997 as directors of Hennessy Ltd. The works undertaken by Hennessy Ltd take a high level of personal involvement from Brendan and Mark. This also means that I place a great deal of trust in the ability of Hennessy Ltd and its management. We hope that they will work for our company in the future. _____________________________________________________________________ Tabard Gardens 2002-2006 Hennessy Ltd has worked for Tabard Gardens TMC since April 2001. Hennessy Ltd has been our main and our sole contractor for day to day repairs and maintenance, including electrics and gas related works, large remedial works including damp and condensation works. They have also tendered for contract works including roofing repairs and covering works and brick work and pointing repairs. Hennessy Ltd carried out refurbishment to blocks to meet decent home standard which included: rewiring, renewing complete kitchens and bathrooms including flooring, renewing complete central heating systems and total redecorations. Tabard Gardens TMC recently took the decision to refurbish our offices and Hennessy Ltd won the contracts for these works. This has included providing a full design specification. The works involved moving walls, altering the structural design, building shower rooms and toilet facilities which were not previously in existence and designing and providing bespoke storage facilities. Fitting new central heating and hot water systems and decorating throughout, including fitting specialist flooring. Hennessy Ltd has provided Tabard Gardens TMC with a high quality service, works which are guaranteed and a fast effective resolution to any problems which may occur. This is why Hennessy Ltd have been with Tabard Gardens TMC for so long and as a public funded organisation who are governed by the local authority must provide value for money and a recognised minimum standard which Hennessy Ltd has continually improves upon. _____________________________________________________________________ Mrs – Dulwich November 1984-2008 Re: Hennessy Ltd, Wycombe House, Hockenden Lane, Swanley, Kent BR8 7QH. We have been customers of Hennessy Ltd for over twenty years. In that time they completely refurbished two houses for us as well as providing routine maintenance. We have found them to provide an extremely high standard of work and to come in on time and, importantly, on budget. Our most recent house refurbishment (address as above) was in 2004. Hennessy Ltd carried out major works to the property. Externally, the property was reroofed, positions of some windows and doors relocated, new drains installed and a large single floor extension was built on the rear of the property making it necessary to excavate some 10 metres into a sloping garden and ensure the remainder of the garden was well retained. Internally, the property was completed rewired and replumbed with central heating installed. New bathrooms and kitchen were installed and all original sash widows were refurbished. The property was completely redecorated both externally and internally. Hennessy Ltd oversaw all works as well as liaising with our local building control and with our structural engineer. The work was out carried out to very high standard and was completed on time and to budget. Hennessy Ltd is a pleasure to work with. They are readably available should there been any problems and we have found their staff to be extremely considerate and polite. Their skills and experience ensure quality workmanship.
